Hub's founder came up with the idea for this app and, at the time, Smart was not even a client. However, we pitched the idea to them and they loved it. They sent us immediately into design and development with San Francisco as our first market. The app is now available everywhere and is used as a sales tool by the dealerships as an added incentive. It is obviously particularly useful in big cities where parking can be very challenging. The app, named Smart Spots, uses GPS tracking and tips from other Smart drivers to locate the Smart Spots – those sweet, sweet pieces of curb between 9’ and 13’ where only as Smart will fit – nearest you.
